Stuart Altschuler

Stuart comes to Disability Navigators with over three decades of lived experience as the parent of an adult son with autism and as a passionate disability advocate within his community, most notably spending nearly twenty years as a lead gymnastics coach for Special Olympics New Jersey. At the inspiration of his wife, Darlene, Stuart founded Disability Navigators to become the most responsive, trustworthy and professional Support Coordination Agency in New Jersey. Prior to Disability Navigators, Stuart led the analytics efforts for a public health non-profit that focused on addressing social determinant of health challenges faced by the Medicaid population in New Jersey. Stuart has earned BS and MS degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Rutgers University, an MA in Systematic Theology from Seton Hall University, and has over 30 years of business intelligence, analytics, machine learning and data science experience. Stuart lives in Moorestown, NJ with Darlene, and their son, dog Grace, and parakeet Francis. Stuart and Darlene are also parents of three other adult children. Stuart was ordained as a Deacon for the Diocese of Trenton in May 2024.

Elizabeth Dalzell

Elizabeth has been a family advocate for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) for over 30 years. Elizabeth is the mother and caregiver of a nonverbal, adult child with complex medical needs and has experienced extreme challenges navigating the transition from the education system to adult services. As a Drexel University graduate, she has previous experience as a support coordinator in New Jersey. Elizabeth has been appointed by the Governor of NJ to serve on the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities (NJCDD) and is the Chair of the NJCDD Health & Wellness Committee and a member of the NJCDD Grant Committee. Elizabeth worked for a private special education school that also served adults with I/DD. She is in daily contact with families attempting to navigate the complex system of education & support services. She assisted, from conception, with developing a NJ DDD approved adult program and continues to work with local hospitals to improve the patient experience for those with I/DD.  Elizabeth is immersed in the I/DD community at home, work and volunteer commitments. An interesting fact about Elizabeth is that she has competitively figure skated in the past.

Darlene Altschuler

Darlene started out as a Support Coordinator back in 2014 with a simple desire to learn more about the system for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, so that she could be of greater help to her adult son with autism. Driven by her curiosity and her desire to form lasting, trusted relationships, she has served as a go-to resource for hundreds of individuals and their families, as well as for other support coordinators that she has trained and developed. She has founded religious education programs and recreation programs for both children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She and her husband, Stuart are married with four children, one of whom is in the DDD system. Darlene blends a strong attention to detail with a desire to share what she learns. She strongly believes that communication is very important and always makes sure to follow up with any concern or question.

Wynter Aiken

Wynter’s first professional experience engaging with the vibrant disability community unfolded during her time as a volunteer at Jardine Academy in Cranford, NJ, where she had the opportunity to work closely with dedicated educators and inspiring students, fostering an inclusive and empowering environment. As the twin sister of a woman who lives with Cerebral Palsy and relies on a wheelchair for mobility, Wynter is deeply inspired by her strength and resilience. Growing up alongside her sister, Wynter has learned invaluable lessons about perseverance, empathy, and the importance of celebrating small victories, from childhood into adulthood. Every day, Wynter strives to make her sister proud by infusing these lessons into her own life. With passion and determination, Wynter advocates for accessibility and understanding, motivated by her example and the goal of building a world where everyone, regardless of their mental, developmental, or physical abilities, can thrive and be celebrated.

Writing has been a cherished part of Wynter’s life for as long as she can remember. During her time in undergraduate and graduate school, it was not just a passion but a source of deep fulfillment and exploration. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communications, Wynter has not only honed her skills as a writer and editor but also embraced her role as a communicator, reaching out to people from all walks of life. Now she’s on a new professional path as an effective communicator and support coordinator with Disability Navigators.

Jason Bintliff

Jason is a passionate advocate for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has held many different roles in the Human Services field. Starting as a direct support professional, he has overseen program development and quality assurance. Jason has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and an Masters of Science in Human Services Administration. In his role as a supervisor at Disability Navigators, he looks to utilize his experience working with the DDD/Medicaid system to help the consumer connect to all of the services, supports and community resources available to them. Interesting fact: Lena Blackburn Baseball Rubbing Mud has been in Jason’s family for four generations and has been a huge part of Major League Baseball since the 1930’s. Jason is a fanatical Philadelphia sports fan, a living kidney donor and a distance runner. Jason lives in Mantua, NJ with his wife Nicole and their many children.

Nicole Bintliff

Nicole loves to spend time with her husband, Jason and their many children. The family enjoys movie nights and trips to the beach. Nicole lives in Mantua, NJ. Nicole has spent most of her professional career (15 years) working as a Special Education teacher. Over the last several years, she has worked as a Direct Support Professional with adults in a sheltered workshop as well as a virtual Math Tutor. Nicole believes that the best part of working in the human services field is being able to build relationships with people. Coming together with families and helping individuals achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. Fun facts about Nicole are that she is a huge Philly sports fan and that she loves animals. She has two dogs and three cats; however she is scared of pet birds!

Ayana Brooks

Ayana has over eight years of experience in the DDD world, working both as a Support Coordinator and as a Direct Support Person. Her passion is driven by her twin children, one of whom is on the Autism spectrum. She also has a passion for the disability community and wants to ensure that everyone has the support they need to succeed in this life. Ayana is a graduate of West Chester University and is a HUGE Philadelphia Eagles fan. (Don’t be surprised if she randomly starts singing Fly Eagles Fly for all to hear.) She is looking to further her education in the future by obtaining her Master of Social Work.

Kristin Burd

Kristin lives in Somerset County with her husband and two children. Kristin was a Middle School Special Education Teacher for 13 years and has a Master’s degree in Supervision and Administration. Kristin was also an Athletic Director for three years. Kristin also mentored high school student as well as post-high school graduates as they found their passion in helping children. As an educator, Kristin participated in IEP meetings and learned to empathize with her students and their families. She has helped many individuals reach their highest potential by thinking out-of-the-box. Kristin left her career to become a full-time advocate for her son with autism. Kristin loves being a support coordinator because it helps her about resources and to stay connected to families like her own. Her vision for Disability Navigators is for all to work together to make life as enjoyable and productive as possible. Kristin’s motto is, “What can I do to help?” A fun fact about Kristin is that she lived in the U.S. Virgin Islands for the first three years of her life. She loves to travel and during the summers you can find her lounging out by her pool.

Paula Corbi

Paula has lived in Turnersville, NJ for most of her life. She graduated from the University of Delaware receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Textiles and Merchandising. Her prior professional experience extends from retail management, overseeing a design center showroom to assisting people in obtaining home financing.  

In recent years, Paula has had the pleasure of becoming a paraprofessional for Gloucester County Institute of Technology and the Washington Township School District. She particularly enjoyed working for the ESY Programs supporting the instructional and behavioral needs of students with disabilities, ensuring a productive learning experience.  

Paula loves spending time with her family and friends and has played a major role in the lives of her two nephews and niece along with her friend’s children. She is a huge Philadelphia Sports fan and enjoys relaxing on Sunday afternoons watching golf on TV. Paula loves traveling, reading, movies, but most of all, is an ardent music lover. It’s rare to come into her home at any given time and not hear music playing. 

Paula is very excited to be part of the team for Disability Navigators. She is passionate about assisting individuals in achieving their goals and living their best lives and looks forward to this next chapter in her life.  

Brianna DeLizzio

Brianna currently lives in Delran, NJ. She comes from an Italian family and has two older sisters who she is very close to. Family is very important to Brianna. She is a proud cat mom to Dusty who is the perfect “cuddle buddy”. Brainna graduated in 2020 with her bachelor’s degree in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. Since 2023, Brianna has been working for Bayada both as a pediatric homecare nurse and as a one-to-one school nurse. In addition, Brianna is also a self-directed employee for an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her love for her work stems from the quality time she is able to spend with her clients and the resulting personal connections that form. Brianna lives by the motto that “work is not just work”. She is invested in the work she does and genuinely cares about the people she works with. Brianna is excited to be a part of the Disability Navigators team and describes herself as a hard worker who likes to do things correctly. Brianna feels that communication is the most important aspect of every successful work environment and strives to do it well. Brianna looks forward to bringing her nursing experiences into this field and aspires to keep making personal connections with her clients. A fun fact about Brianna is her love of art. Her most recent interest has been pottery as she has been taking classes for over 2 years. Brianna loves being able to create various things from indistinct lumps of clay.

Danielle DeLizzio

Danielle brings over a decade of experience as an elementary school teacher, where she has dedicated her career to creating inclusive, supportive, and engaging classrooms for all learners. In recent years, she has co-taught in special education settings, working closely with students with a wide range of learning profiles and abilities, including autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her approach to education is rooted in empathy, adaptability, and a belief that every child deserves the tools and opportunities to thrive both academically and personally.

As a graduate of The College of New Jersey, Danielle holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish. Her passion for language and culture led her to study abroad in Spain during college and later return to Madrid after graduation to teach English. These experiences abroad deepened her appreciation for global perspectives and her belief in lifelong learning through connection and curiosity.

Outside of the classroom, Danielle is an avid traveler, foodie, and runner, and is currently training for her second marathon. Whether in her work with students or in her personal pursuits, Danielle is driven by a desire to help others live their best lives, where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Traci Dunham

Traci grew up in South Jersey and currently resides in Wildwood Crest. She lives with her husband of 33 years and has a daughter who is an Occupational Therapist in Charleston, South Carolina. Her other daughter, Caroline was in the DDD system and passed away in 2021. Traci has been a support coordinator for 7 years and the parent of a child with a disability for 27 years. Having a child with a disability motivates Traci to want to help other families by encouraging and supporting them through their journey. Traci strongly believes in building relationships with care, communication, and trust. She loves working with clients to provide the best service and resources to see them succeed while valuing each individual and their successes. Fun facts about Traci are that she loves to travel and she has authored three published children’s books!

Heather Garced

Heather is a resident of Burlington County where she lives with her husband, three children and two dogs. She is a graduate of Rutgers with a degree in Psychology and English. Her professional experience began as a preschool teacher for 3 years and later led her to teach English abroad in Tokyo. Most recently she worked in a preschool classroom in Moorestown, NJ with children on the autism spectrum as well as other intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has personal experience with the world of IEP’s as her daughter has a learning disability, and her son has been in speech therapy since the age of three. Her life has led her back into the world of education and advocacy time and time again, and as a Support Coordinator her goal is to educate and help individuals find the best fitting resources to not only be happy but successful.  

Heather enjoys time at the beach and on the boardwalk in the summer. As a New Jersey native, she is a big Phillies and Eagles fan. Recently, she just finished her first marathon and enjoys any type of exercise. You can always find her baking and cooking with her kids in her kitchen. Spending time with family is the most important thing in the world to her. Heather is so excited to be on the Disability Navigators team and be able to carry out her passion for helping others! 

Bronte Hanntz-Eagan

As a wife, mother of two, and a compassionate advocate, Bronte brings a wealth of empathy and understanding to her role as a support coordinator. Inspired by her brother’s journey, she is dedicated to helping others with disabilities reach their full potential. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a passion for holistic healing, Bronte offers a unique blend of scientific knowledge and compassionate care. Her goal is to build genuine relationships with clients and families, providing the support and guidance they need to thrive.

Kristen McKeaney

Kristen has been married to Bill for thirty-one years. Their daughter Kate is married to Kyle. Her son Sean has Down Syndrome and attends a Burlington County day program. They live in Mount Laurel. Kristen holds a Masters degree in Library Science and worked as a law librarian for twenty years and a school librarian for eight years. Once Sean graduated from high school, she became a Support Coordinator. Kristen is very excited to be joining Disability Navigators. Kristen is very detail oriented who tries to get plans done quickly and accurately for her client families. She loves the job because it is different everyday and allows her to see the different supports and services that are available. A fun fact about Kristen is that she loves to travel and is planning a trip to Ireland. She also loves to read and keeps a list of each book she reads in a year and her likes and dislikes.

Michelle Merriman

Michelle has been married to Bob for twenty-seven years and has two children. Michelle lives in Mount Laurel but is a North Jersey girl at heart! Michelle worked for a professional theater company as a producer, director and fundraiser before raising her children and is now looking forward to starting her career as a support coordinator. Michelle is thrilled to be a part of Disability Navigators and looks forward to helping families understand the workings of the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Michelle has excellent organizational skills and a great sense of humor. A fun fact about Michelle is that during college she worked for Sears security where she had to arrest shoplifters!

Cheryl O’Brien

Cheryl is a retired schoolteacher with 15 years of classroom experience, that included inclusion classes for children with autism and other intellectual disabilities. She also has the lived experience of advocating for her son and coordinating his special education needs, while developing a deep knowledge of IEP procedures, compliance standards, and multi-agency collaboration.  Prior to teaching, she worked in the Financial Services Industry as a Private Banking Loan Officer at Citibank and Vice President of Finance at Paine Webber.  Cheryl has an undergraduate degree in psychology, a teaching certificate in English and a master’s degree in finance.  She currently lives with her husband and her dog, and they enjoy traveling and hiking.  She is also an avid pickleball player.  She is passionate about making a meaningful impact in people’s lives through planning, communication, and follow-through.   

Nicky Samuels

Nicky is a mother of two boys. Her older son David, age 17, is creative with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Anxiety, ADHD, and several chronic health conditions. Her younger son, age 12, is energetic and diagnosed with ADHD. Both children have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support their unique needs. Nicky’s exposure to disability began during her childhood, growing up alongside an uncle with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and a cousin who became deaf due to scarlet fever. And, with a decade of experience working within the New Jersey Foster Care system, Nicky has maintained a close connection to the disability community, as nearly 80% of children in foster care have IEPs. 

Nicky has leveraged her professional background to promote autism awareness. She is dedicated to advancing disability rights, support, and services. Her personal mission focuses on fostering collaboration to create opportunities that promote self-determination, independence, and inclusion for individuals with autism spectrum disorder across all aspects of community life. She served as a Federal Legislative Volunteer Advocate for Autism Speaks from 2017 to 2021. She is also an Autism New Jersey Ambassador, actively engaging in advocacy, education, and awareness initiatives through various events and outreach activities. To further her efforts, Nicky recently completed the 2024 NJ Partners in Policymaking graduate program and the 2025 NJ Partners in Policymaking Advanced Leadership Academy.  

Nicky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Rider University. Her professional experience includes work with media outlets such as NJN News, WB17 News (WPHL), and the Asbury Park Press. Nicky resides in Burlington County. Originally from the Jersey Shore, she proudly identifies as a lifelong Jersey Girl.
